Mike was born on October 4, 1947 in Gastonia, NC to the late Albert and Verna Huffstetler. He spent his life doing what he loved most, working as a maintenance supervisor and helping others through the Red Cross and ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service).
Mike is survived by his beautiful wife, Jenny Huffstetler, three daughters: Lisa Huffstetler Morris (Scottie Ray Morris), Kimberly Flynn, Chris McGinn (Matt McGinn) and One son: Todd Huffstetler. His grandchildren: Carol, Lance, Chris, Derrick, Lauren, Amber, Dustin, Zach, Angel, Shelby, Jacob, Landon, Caedmon, and Jude . He also had 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his late mother Verna Mae Huffstetler and father Albert Miller Huffstetler. His late wife Pamela Carol Huffstetler and his son Brian Anderson Huffstetler.
His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be greatly missed by so many. He will always be remembered as a loyal husband and friend as well as an amazing father and grandfather.
The family will receive friends at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
