A loving mother, proud grandmother, and friend passed peacefully at her home in Austin on August 26th, 2021. She was born February 8, 1931 in Elkhart, Texas to John Edward Gray and Minnie Lee Gray. She married Roy M. Horlock of Houston and had one child, Roy M. Horlock, Jr. Dorothy was a beautiful, intelligent, business minded woman. She enjoyed entertaining, painting, travel, and playing Bridge with friends.

In her younger years, Dorothy's sense of adventure led her to live in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Madrid, Spain.

Dorothy is survived by her son Roy M. Horlock, Jr., daughter-in-law Natalie Pohl Horlock, and grandchildren Roy (Trip) Horlock III, William Keller Horlock, Ryan Brooke Horlock, and Gray McAfee Horlock.
