Died. At his family residence last Monday, J Madison Bell, Jr., of typhoid malarial fever, age 31 years. He was inter[r]ed at Oalkland [sic] cemetery last Wednesday. Funeral from Methodist Episcopal church, Rev. W O Emory officiating. J M Bell, Jr., was the son of J M Bell [,] the poet of Toledo. He was [,] since 1881 [,] a devoted Christian[,] a member of the M E Church and a worthy member of Ambrozia [sic] Lodge No 2085 G U O of OF and was buried with Odd Fellows honors.
