Hearne, Texas, April 21 - The whole town was shocked this morning when it was learned the Mrs. D. G. Boyd of this place had died at the home of her parents in Hempstead this morning at 6:30. She was the wife of Mr. D. G. Boyd, one of Hearne's prominent grocery merchants. Her remains will arrive on the morning train and will be buried in Norwood cemetery. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church, of which she was a member, by Rev. McClurkin. (The Houston Daily Post, Houston, Tex, Apr 23, 1901 - )
