Mrs. Betty Weddle Warf, 89, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Walnut Cove Health and Rehab.

She was born December 25, 1931, in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late John Daniel Weddle and Bertha Ardella Horton Weddle.

Betty volunteered her time at Forsyth Medical Center for numerous years. She was a member of the Home Extension Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Russell Warf.

Betty is survived by a son, Russell Warf; a daughter, Kristy Warf Macemore (Steve); three grandchildren, Miranda Macemore, Lindley Jones (Ronald) and Kendall Sharpe (Kaylan); three great-grandchildren, Brayden Parker, Kennedy Sharpe, and Kanon Sharpe; two sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Priddy Manor for the love and care shown to Betty during her stay.

A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, October 15, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday evening October 14, 2021, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel.
