MIDWAY-Our loving mother, grandmother and friend, Anna Ina Walton Lewis, age 100, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2003 in Heber City.

Born December 23, 1902 in Midway, Utah, the daughter of John Sulser and Mary Keller. Ina grew up, attended school and was a life-time resident of Midway,

Utah. She married Charles A. Weitz, later divorced. Married Cee Dee Walton, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. Married Walter Bates, later divorced. Married Mervin Lewis who also preceded her in death.

Ina was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Relief Society teacher for over 60 years. She was a long-time member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. A very caring person, she was always willing to help anyone in need. Through the years she assisted with many births as a midwife. Her greatest enjoyment in recent years was having her family at her home during the Midway Swiss Days.

Survivors include two children: Stanley (Shirlene) Walton of Heber City; Jerry Kay (Beth) Walton of Erda; numerous grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two children: daughter, Colleen, and son, Larry J. Walton.

Funeral Services will be held Wed., Oct 29, 2003, 11 a.m. in the Midway 2nd Ward Church, 250 East 200 South, Midway. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 N. Main Street, Heber City, and on Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the LDS Church.
Interment: Heber City Cemetery.
