Janetta M Hanks, 87 of Lewisport, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on October 9, 2021. She was born July 15, 1934 in Cloverport, Kentucky to Hubert and Annie Greenwood.
Janetta was Catholic and loved the Lord. She was an avid Elvis fan and loved shopping.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hubert Greenwood, Jr. and James Merlin Greenwood and her sister, Alta Marie Brown. Left to cherish memories are her husband, Sam Hanks; sons, Gary (Donna) Hanks and David (Pam) Hanks; grandchildren, Rachel Ham and Matthew Hanks; step grandchildren, Kaci Fields and Shauna Dowell; brother, Kenneth (Wanda) Greenwood and a host of family and friends.
Visitation for Janetta will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 9am - 12pm and her service will begin at 12pm at Cloverport Funeral Home with Father Terry presiding. Burial will follow in Cloverport Cemetery.
