Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. A farmer all his life, he was also a good businessman. He loved being a farmer and being able to provide something people need. He also believed in treating people fairly. Albert loved animals and, enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by a daughter Michele L. McElwee of Lebanon; six grandchildren: Brandon Hackman, Cory Beiler, Dillan McElwee, Kari Coble, Zachary Landis and Tara Heimbach; five great grandchildren; three sisters: Arlene Sager, Margie Bair and Mick Noss; and four brothers: George, Troy, Bob and Allen Retherford.
He was predeceased by a daughter Robin Irvin; a son Mark Retherford; and three brothers: Earl, Ernie and Samuel Retherford.
