This aged lady so well known here, wife of Samuel Anawalt, Esqr., grandmother of Miss Mattie Heyser, died on Monday night, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wakefield, in Rock Island. Mrs. Anawalt was born in Somerset county; the family lived here many years, and everybody knew the gentle old lady. She departed in ripe old age, in her 85th year. Her husband still survived her, in his 88th year.

ANAWALT
Mrs. Agnes Anawalt, wife of Mr. Samuel Anawalt, breathed her last at the home of daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Wakefield, 708 Twenty-first street at 8:30 last evening. The deceased was eighty-three years of age, and her home had been in Rock Island for ten years. She leaves with her husband three children - Mr. E. H. Anawalt, of Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. S. Heyser , of Monongahela City, Pa., and Mrs. Wakefield, of Rock Island. Deceased was greatly beloved by all who knew her.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the residence of Mrs. Wakefield.
