CATHERINE B. MORIN, World War II Veteran
Catherine B. Adams Morin of the Red Cedar Hill section of Levittown, died yesterday in Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol Township.
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Mrs. Morin was a 38-year Levittown resident and a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown, where she was active with the Sodality and other church activities.
Daughter of the late John J. and Mae F. Kelly Adams Sr., she is survived by her husband, Edward J. Morin Sr.; six daughters, Kathleen Weldon of Titusville, Fla., Nannette Lake of New Milford, Pa., Marie Meyer of Bristol, Joanne Gleason of Ventnor, N.J., Michelle Whitaker of Mt. Holly and Jacquelyn Mastin of Washington, D.C.; a son, Edward J. Morin Jr. of Levittown; a sister, Gertrude E. Baker of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, John J. Adams Jr. of Folsom, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Beck-O'Neill-Strouse Golden Rule Funeral Home, 7400 New Falls Road, Levittown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
The family prefers Mass cards.
