Funeral services for Linda Gale Rodgers of Cordele will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Service with interment to follow at Stubbs Cemetery in Wilcox County. Mrs. Rodgers, 60, died at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. A native of Wilcox County, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Mansfield Braden and Lula Mae Braden Collier. She was a seamstress and a member of Richwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Max Curtis Rodgers, Jr. and his wife, Penny of Cordele, Wanda Rodgers Fry and Wayne Rodgers, both of Fitzgerald; a brother, James Roger Braden; and seven grandchildren, Braden Rodgers, Chelsea Rodgers, Brad Rodgers, Emily Hattaway, Jessica Amerine, Keagan Rodgers and Joey Rodgers; and one great-granddaughter, Kirstien Amerine. She was preceded in death by a son, Lee Rodgers and her step-father, John D. Collier.
