Kerry Murdock was born in Salmon, Idaho on February 24th, 1959. He grew up enjoying life in South Texas and Idaho and then returned to Texas 31 years ago. He was a good man, incredible role model, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on cars, and playing dominoes. He was an active and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a two-year mission for the church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also served as the Bishop in the Paris Ward congregation for four and one half years. He found great joy in loving and serving his fellow men and sharing his testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his Father Lorin Murdock, brother Lorin Lee Murdock, and granddaughter Lydia Grace Murdock.
