Elizabeth was the first wife of Daniel Isgrigg, and according to History of Hamilton County, Ohio (Ford, H. 1881), they were married in 1817 at Green Township, Hamilton County, Ohio.

In 1820, Daniel is found on the Census living in Colerain, Hamilton, Ohio with a wife and two children under 10, a boy and a girl. Both adults are given as "16 thru 25".
In 1830, Daniel and Elizabeth are still living in Hamilton County, with a larger family. Both adults are given as "30 thru 39", with two "10 thru 14", a boy and girl, two girls "5 thru 9", and 4 children under five, one girl and three boys.
By 1840 Daniel, still living in Hamilton County, can be found with three less people, he being the only adult in the household with two girls "5 thru 9", one under five, two boys "10 thru 14", and one boy "5 thru 9".
One can deduce he had by this point lost his wife and at least two children, and so Elizabeth's birth and death date has been approximated from census records until further evidence yields a more precise date.
