Lone Grove - Funeral Services for Mr. Ronnie Lynn Cryer of Ardmore is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Bro. Brad Houchin officiating and Greg Cryer as an honorary speaker. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery.

Ronnie passed away from this life on October 7, 2021 at the age of 64 years, 7 months, and 10 days old.
He was born February 28, 1957 in Ardmore, Ok. to the late O'Dell and Edna Ethel Cryer. He owned Ronnie Cryer and Son's Painting for 25 years and co-owned Cryer's Painting for 11 years. He was very professional and successful in his 50 year career.

He was a man of many talents. Ronnie started his journey when he met the love of his life Liz Brown. They married September 27, 1976 in Ardmore where exactly 2 years later they started a family. He is a 2nd generation painter. Passed down from his father and as well passing on his talents to his two sons Ronnie and Darin Cryer. He loved his classic cars, racing, and always liked to get his hands dirty whenever he had the chance. There was nothing he couldn't do and was truly The Jack of all Trades. He was full of life and too witty for his own good. When he walked into a room it lit up. He loved his family and friends and he loved with all his heart.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and O'Dell Cryer, his loving mother in law Ethel Brown and 1 granddaughter, Destiny Cryer.

He is survived by his soul mate and loving wife of 46 years Liz Cryer of the home. Two wonderful sons- Ronnie Cryer and wife Jeanne, Darin Cryer and wife Kari Ann, and one daughter, Mandy Thornton. Two brothers Alfred and Roy Cryer and 1 sister Lisa Cryer; grandchildren, McKenzie, Brady, Lexis, Darian, Mia, Shilynn, Kaden, Zack and Taylor; great grandchildren, Riddick, Journee and Emberlee; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Roe Gardner, Brady Searcy, Conner Jackson, Kendal Johnson, Trinity Hill and Jackie Brown.

Family visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson.
