Sister's early years in ministry were with primary grade students. For several years she taught in California and Washington. Sister Karen Wilhelmy wrote about Sister Anna Mary. "For 55+ years, she has lived a life of simplicity and generosity, not expecting accolades for what she does. Yet for each ministry in which she engaged, Anna Mary reached deep to give the finest touch and spirit of dedication. She brought joy and dedication to each ministry." Sister's family was important to her and she remained close to them.
She is survived by her brother, Richard John Anesi, sister-in-law Dora Jean Dodi Anesi, cousin Albert J, Anesi and many nieces and nephews.
