Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Kneil Ford.
Marilyn attended school in Metcalfe County and will be remembered for her work as Executive Secretary to former Metcalfe County Judge Woodrow Wilson. Marilyn retired under the administration of Judge Richard Froedge. Marilyn also assisted her husband with the family business Fords Sewing Machine and Vacuum Cleaner Repair. In her spare time Marilyn loved to read and spending time being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family.
Marilyn is survived by one daughter Sherry Pickett and husband Dewayne of Greensburg. Two granddaughters, Natasha Imley and husband Jordan of Versailles and Tara Trent and husband Donald of Edmonton. Great grandchildren children, Iva Kate Blazier and Maddie Ervin. Step granddaughters Gracie Trent and Brittany McFarland. A step great grandson Kason McFarland.
Funeral services for Marilyn Ford will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 10th at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton. Burial will be in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday until service time.
