Betty Sue Obrien – 77
Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on October 19, 1943 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Bud and Mae (Raborn) Cooper. Sue worked alongside her husband for many years at Obrien's Barber and Stylist Shop. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, traveling and painting. Sue was natural artist who self-taught herself and was remarkably talented. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ed Obrien of Lakeland, Georgia; daughter, Carrie Lattarulo of Fort Valley, Georgia; brothers, Terry Cooper of Deland, Florida, Ray Cooper of Marietta, Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the chapel of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Big Horse Creek Cemetery in Millen, Georgia. Kind messages and memories may be left the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
