DEATH OF NORMAN MOSES
Norman S. Moses died this morning after a long illness borne with patience. He was a native of Massachusetts and 74 years of age. He came to Santa Cruz in the early sixties, and for many years was in the employ of R. C. Kirby at the tannery. Until a few years ago he was in charge of the Odd Fellows' Cemetery. He has been an Odd Fellow of long standing, being a member of the San Lorenzo Lodge. In religious belief, he was a member of the local body of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He leaves a wife; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Merrill of the city; and two sons, Orrin Moses of Santa Cruz and William Moses of San Francisco.

MOSES — In Santa Cruz, January 5, 1905, Norman S. Moses, a native of Massachusetts, aged 74 years. The funeral of the deceased will take place from his late residence on Grant Street, tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 o'clock p.m. Friends and acquaintances are invited to be present.

The officers and members of San Lorenzo Lodge, No. 147, I.O.O.F., are requested to meet at their hall on Saturday Jan. 7th, at one o'clock P.M. for the purpose of attending the funeral of our late brother, Norman S.
