NETTIE NAOMI SHEARER, beloved wife of Esrom M. Shearer, Seven Valleys RD 1, died at her home on Jan. 2, 1949, after a lingering illness.
At death, Mrs. Shearer had reached the age of 54 years, 6 months, and 10 days.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brenneman, Mrs. Shearer was a faithful mother of a large family. Surviving besides her husband are five sons, Percy A. Shearer, Clyde E. Shearer, William H. Shearer, Wilbur N. Shearer, Harvey E. Shearer, three daughters, Mrs. Willard Brodbeck, Mrs. Curtis Miller, Mrs. Lewis Lentz; four grandchildren and a brother Percy Brenneman.
The funeral was held at Goodling Funeral Home in Seven Valleys, Pa. on Jan. 5, 1949. Burial was made in Shaffer's Church Cemetery.
