Priscilla Smith, 81, of Charlotte passed away on September 22, 2021 at Novant Health Huntersville. She was born on June 24, 1940 to the late Silas and Nellie Jackson. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Helms and brother, Alfred Jackson. Priscilla was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church. She loved God, loved her family, and loved her church She was known for her green thumb and enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. She also liked to crochet, clogging, and square dancing. She enjoyed the beach as well.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee Pittman and husband Rev. Mike Pittman; brother, Frankie Foster; grandchildren, Shawn Pittman and wife Ashley and Shannon Thomas and husband Josh; great grandchildren, Jaylyn, Riley, Abel, and Kelsie; and her couch buddies (pets), Zoe and Layla.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 7280 Sifford Rd., Stanley, NC 28164 with Revs. Mike Pittman and Joe Amick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
