Elizabeth was born March 18, 1945, in Sampson County to the late Sylvester and Fannie Carter. She is preceded in death by her husband: Ivey Martin, four sisters: Ola Mae Warlick; Roselle Burgess; Doris Martin; Vada Dabbs, and three brothers: Willie Lee Carter; Ralph Carter; Oddie Carter.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory two sisters: Barbara Jean Johnson of Garland; Linda Hood of Mint Hill, one brother: RB Carter and wife Alice of Garland, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 07, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Garland Cemetery by the Reverend Matthew Young.
The public will be received from 1:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 06, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home in Garland.
