Limestone – Jeffrey A. Libby, 69, passed away Thursday evening August 18, 2016 at his Limestone residence, following a brief illness. He was born September 23, 1946 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Arthur and Martina (Griffeth) Libby.

He was a lifelong resident of Limestone where he attended local schools, worked for many years in the farming industry and for 20 years he was employed with the Lane Construction Corporation of Presque Isle.

He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, James Libby; one sister, Betty Libby and he is survived by two sons, Michael A. Libby of Limestone and Richard A. Libby of Caribou; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeri and Peter Boulier of Limestone, Joy and Ken Gustin of Manhattan, Kansas, Kim and Paul Clark of Audubon, New Jersey; three grandchildren; one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mr. Libby's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery, Limestone at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Libby to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, One Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, Maine 04086.
