Bollinger

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Funeral services for Samuel Ray Bollinger, 82, were held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, in Greenwood Chapel. Burial was Saturday at Rice Community Cemetery in Milam County.

Mr. Bollinger died Tuesday, Nov. 27.

He was born July 16, 1925, to Walter A. and Martha A. Bollinger in Gause.

He married Deova Mae Quillin on Dec. 10, 1949, and moved to Fort Worth in 1962.

Mr. Bollinger was a minister and later a deacon in his church. He owned several businesses in his life, including Bollinger Mobile Homes. He was a devoted husband, loving father and a wonderful grandfather and uncle.

Mr. Bollinger was preceded in death by two children, Donna Elizabeth and Gary Wayne; his parents; and two brothers, Lee and Weldon Bollinger.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Deova Bollinger; three sons, Samuel Ray Jr. and wife Rhonda, James Walter and wife Mary, and Sylvan Keith; seven grandchildren, Melanie Bollinger, Scott Bollinger and wife Kimberly, Devra Hughes and husband Levi, Aaron Bollinger, Cherry Moore and husband Tim, Lacy Zeoukas and husband Matt, and Lee Harris; nine great-grandchildren, Bradon, Bridget, Layne, Mason, Max, Heather, Luke, Jacob and Chloe along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of other family and friends.
