Edward J. Secon, age 81 of Fairfield, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Southport, he was a lifelong Fairfield resident. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at C.O. Jelliff of Southport. Eddie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was known as a quiet and likeable man. He is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Josephine; a brother, Bobby; and a sister, Doris Parkamege. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 9 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Fairfield. Arrangements by The Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 S. Pine Creek Road.
