Donna M. Turner, 84, died of natural causes May 3, 2006, at her home in Klamath Falls.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Eternal Hills Chapel with Pastor Kevin Drake of Klamath Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens. Eternal Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Donna was born March 15, 1922, in Chadron, Neb., to William D. Cogdill and Lucile Dorothea Bower.

She spent her childhood in Nebraska before moving to Nampa, Idaho, where she met Willard Turner. The two married in Reno, Nev., on Oct. 5, 1941. They made their home in Klamath Falls and lived more than 55 years in the same home.

Donna worked at times as a salesperson at a local jewelry store and at the 88¢ store. She was an accomplished seamstress and would sew and mend anything people would bring to her. She also did cross stitch displays for the Counted Cross Stitch Magazine. Donna was heavily involved in miniatures.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, listening to music and reading (she was a member of a book-of-the-month club. She also had an extensive collection of thimbles and Precious Moments collectibles.

Survivors include her husband, Willard Turner of Klamath Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Judy (Stietzel) Turner of McMinnville; granddaughter, Elizabeth Turner-Bolton and her husband, Chris, of Junction City; granddaughter, Michelle Turner of Seattle; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Seth Bolton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothea and Don Zarosinski of Portland, and Patsy and Roger Beck of Klamath Falls; sister-in-law, Jeannine Cogdill of Klamath Falls; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie and Frank Wryn of Rocky Point; nieces and nephews, Billy Cogdill and his wife, Jodeen, Barry Cogdill and his wife, Jeanie, David Beck and his wife, Ronda, Jana Hawthorne and her husband, Jon, Debra Grbavac and her husband, Rick, Daryl Zarosinski and his wife, Karen, Dona van Bronkhorst and her husband, Kort, Dean Zarosinski and his wife, Jenny, Don Zarosinski and his wife, Sandy, DeAnna Shields and her husband, John, Bob and Greg Wryn, Bill and Jim Turner; 26 great-nieces and nephews and six great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, William Cogdill Jr. and Joseph Cogdill.
