Donald Dale Helton Sr. of North Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021.

Dale was born the youngest of eleven on June 3, 1934 in Scott, AR to Arnold Lee and Thelma Alice Smith Helton.

Dale was proceeded in death by seven brothers, two sisters, wife of 39 years Rita Sue Helton and grandson Tyler Alan Helton Sr.

Dale is survived by brother Bill Helton of Sherwood; two sons, Donald Dale Helton Jr. of Dallas, Tx and Paul Alan Helton of Conway, AR; granddaughter Tiffany Leigh Helton of Truckee, CA; and great grandson Tyler Alan Helton Jr. of Sherwood, AR.

Dale served our country early in life in the Navy and then the Naval Reserve. He was a charter member of Lakehill Assembly of God in North Little Rock and later in life was an active member of McArthur Assembly of God in Jacksonville.

Faith was one resounding pillar of his life in which he openly shared with many. He lived with steadfast integrity and had a deep unwavering love for not only his family but Christ as well. He had a stout foundation of faith and was able to bring the brightest light to any room he entered. Dale was able to strike up conversations with anyone, anytime and anyplace. He undoubtedly enjoyed baking, cooking, hunting and more than anything he spending time with his family.

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens. A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; time to heal and a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance" Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Animal Shelter in Sherwood, AR.

The family will be honoring his life at Pam and Paul's in Conway, AR on October 3, 2021 from 11-4pm
