Uncle Charlie as he was know by so many people in the Chadwick and Sparta area was a tie buyer at Chadwick for years. He always was great with the young people, one story that was told on Charlie was , he told Fanny that he was going to go look for a days work and a little later Fanny heard voices down at the swimming hole and Charlie was down there with the young people swinging from a grape vine.
