He served in the United States Army and was also a Mason. Mr. Keys worked for MARTA for more than 30 years. He loved hunting, fishing, golf, and just being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Freeman Keys; his son, Vance E. Keys of Dallas; grandchildren Alexandria Keys, Tommilyn Keys, and Collin Keys; great grandson, Asher Willingham; brother, Doug (Elaine) Keys of Dallas; sister, Diane Couch of Dallas; and nieces Stefanie Venable and Jessica Collins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Pastor Thomas Cole officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
