Eugene Senger was born on February 26, 1931, in Linton, ND to John and Marie (Schneider) Senger and died August 1, 2021, at home in Kennewick, WA. He grew up on a farm in North Dakota then joined the Army National Guard. Upon his discharge, he attended NDSU and studied agriculture. He later moved to Butte, MT where he met and married his wife of 66 years Mary Jane Lawrence. He worked as a carpenter in Butte. In 1967, he moved his family to Kennewick, WA where he resided for the rest of his life. In the early 70's he started Senger Construction and built many homes in the Tri-Cities. He later worked at Hanford as an estimator where he retired in 1993. One of Gene's proudest endeavors was serving as the consultant representing St. Josoph's parish during construction of the new church. Gene is survived by his wife, Jane, and four children, Suzette (Jack) Rahmann, Austin, Texas; Greg Senger (Sandra Garza), Lynda Senger, and John (Dawn) Senger all of Kennewick. Grandchildren Saesha (Charlie) Rutledge, Tyler and Sydney Rahmann; Lucas (Clara), Travis (Sabrina), and Calen Senger; John Heckart Jr. and Gene (Alicia) Senger; Tysen (Ally) Stanley, and Jude Senger. Eight great-grandchildren, sister Irene Glass, brother-in-law Fred LaBlanc, many nieces and nephews and good friends Doc and Cookie Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wendelin Senger, sisters Bernice Schlosser and Verna Hilzendeger, and his mother-in-law, Mary Lawrence. His priorities in life were his faith in God and his family. Gene was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
