Miss Golda Bryant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bryant, passed away shortly after noon today (sic). Funeral arrangements were not completed when the Register News went to press. The little girl was about twelve years of age. She had been sick but a few days, her illness being caused by diabetes.

The funeral service over the remains of Golda Bryant, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bryant, was held Saturday afternoon from the Christian church conducted by Rev. R.A. Lewis, the pastor. An exceptionally large concourse of friends and relatives were present at the service. Goldia Grace Bryant was born in Polk county, Iowa, February 19, 1898, and departed this life September 12, 1912, at the age of 14 years, 6 months and 7 days. She leaves of her immediate family, her father and mother, two sisters and one brother, and grandparents on her mother’s side. She is also mourned by a large number of cousins and other relatives. The illness which caused her death was Bright’s disease and was of but a few days duration. She was seriously ill less than one week preceding her death. The funeral services were held at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Interment was made in Mount Hope cemetery. The parents and other relatives have the sympathy of the community in the sorrow which is theirs.
