Benjamin Eugene (Gene) Agness was born Nov. 25, 1928 in Peru, Indiana and died Aug. 18, 2021 in Bradenton, Florida.
He leaves behind a small family of three sons (Roger, Ray who died in 1986, and Rex married to Rosa), two grandchildren (Lori married to Doug Bennett, and Rex Jr. who died in 2009 after serving honorably in Iraq), and two great-grandchildren A.J. and Ruby … and many friends and acquaintances.
Gene died suddenly of COVID-19 on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021. His earthly body was cremated.
