A Find-a-Grave visitor sent the following information:

Our family records always listed her name as Cynthia EBOLINE Welch b20Dec1814, not CYNTHA EVELINE. She had a daughter with the same middle name, Cynthia EVELINE Valentine, born 05Oct1870, who had a first cousin with the exact same name born 07Jan1875.

I just looked at my old family group records that my Aunt (Leona Oleta Valentine Cunningham (1916-1987)) had created in the 1950-1960s and she lists the information sources as such: "Info on Welch Fam recd recvd from Carr P. Collins of Dallas, Texas desc of #11-Desdemonia (a sister to Cynthia). Info also recvd from a Mrs. Moss of Philadelphia, Miss., also a desc. Corr between a 2gg of #5-Cynthia Eboline and a Mr. Valentine of Laurel, Miss., also a desc of #7-Sarah Susan."

With the misspelling on the headstone of CYNTHA, I'm also pretty sure that her husband's name is ALLEN, not ALEN as in our records as well.
