Mary Maxine Garmon Allen, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Elisse Kinnaird Garmon. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Her husband, Stanley Allen, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son: Robert Allen and his wife Dianne; two grandchildren: Alicia Allen and her husband Jeff and James Robert Allen and his wife Amy, and two great-grandchildren, all of Glasgow.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister: Ellen Smith; three brothers: Valiant Garmon, Earl Garmon and Joe Garmon; her stepmother: Ethel Garmon; two stepbrothers: Ancel Turner and Willie Turner.
Burial was in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
