Emogene Brener, age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her great-niece's home in Montgomery, TX.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie (Charles) Reina of Houston, TX.; sister, Shirley Jernigan of Moreauville; brothers: John M. (Carol) Laborde of Colorado, and Clyde J. (Mary) Laborde of Houston, TX.; grandchild, Charles "Chas" A. (Kat) Reina II of Houston, TX.; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Laborde. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: "Chas", Jock, Matthew, Clyde, and Rodney.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Phil John Brener; parents, Lackey J. Laborde, Sr. & Olivia Bordelon Laborde; sister, Patsy Fannin; and her brothers: Lackey Laborde, Jr., JB Laborde, and Welse J. Laborde.
A visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 10:00pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the St. Peter's Catholic Church Hall in Bordelonville. A rosary prayer service will begin at 4:00pm in the church hall. Visitation will resume at 8:00am until time of service on Friday, October 1, 2021 in the St. Peter's Catholic Church Hall.
