Richard Lewis Mantooth passed away Sunday, September 26th, 2021 in Norman, OK.

Richard was born August 8th, 1935 in Holdenville to Virgil and I. Allis Chasteen Mantooth.
He attended Holdenville Schools and later married Ellen Elliott December 7, 1953 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Richard worked as a Lineman for OG&E. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting and later in life he enjoyed driving a truck cross country telling stories of his travels.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Allis Mantooth, his wife, Ellen Mantooth and seven siblings.

He is survived by his children, Brenda and David Yeakely of Norman, Rhonda and Arnie Foster of Edwardsville, Illinois, Rick and Cindy Mantooth of Mena, Arkansas and Sheryl and Jim Darnell of Marysville, Ohio, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and his sister Helen Crawford of Muskogee, OK as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Due to Covid 19 private services were held under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
