Leon is preceded in death by his parents Elvin and Ruth Ancarrow and his wife Elva Martin Ancarrow.
Surviving is a son Kenneth Ancarrow; sister, Brenda Mann and her husband George; brother, Jerry and his wife Karen; three grandchildren, Kemper, Kailey and Katheryn Ancarrow.
Leon retired from Reynolds Metals after 30 plus years of service. After he had retired he enjoyed working as a golf caddy at Kinloch Golf Course for seven years. Mr. Ancarrow is a Marine Veteran and also served as a Presidential Guard.
A Memorial Service was held at 2:00 pm on Thursday September 12, 2019 at Gethsemane Church of Christ, 5146 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, Va. 23111. Interment followed in the church Cemetery.
