Hugh A. Abrams, 52
Chester – Hugh A. Abrams, 52, of Indiana Avenue, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born on Oct. 9, 1953, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late John and Ruth Smith Abrams. Hugh worked as a Mutual Clerk at Mountaineer Race Track, was a member of the Ten Pin Bowling League and was a member of the Chester American Legion Post 121. He graduated from Oak Glen High School in 1971 and was the owner of the former P2 club in Chester. Survivors include a brother, Jay Abrams of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Christina Snyder and her husband Larry of Chester; a niece Jessica Snyder, also of Chester; and Missy, whom he helped raise. Rev. Katrina Lewis will conduct services at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at the church. The family will be present on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Friday from noon – 3 and 5 – 8 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Memorial contributions can be made to the memorial fund at the church or the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720.
