Jim was born on October 4, 1944 to Carl and Mildred Kimberlin. After graduating High School Jim enlisted in the United States Marine Corp achieving the rank of corporal. He is a veteran of the Vietnam war and for his service he earned an armed forces expeditionary medal and a good conduct medal.
Jim spent his adult career in multiple law enforcement and security positions. He loved the outdoors, boating, fishing, building and fixing things and spending time with his family.
Jim loved his family dearly and is survived by Phyllis, his daughter Donna(Allen) Sutton. Grandchildren Keri (Jovan), Dustin(Autumn), Savannah (Domeniq), Haven(Phillip), Connor, Stephanie. Great Grandchildren Madison, Kaleb, J2, Tristan, Noah, Nalen, Christian, Marvin and Mya. Sisters Eloise, Elaine, Lynne.
