BETTY LOUISE FIGURSKI, age 91, died September 26, 2021 in Fort Collins, CO. Betty was born in Ong, NE and moved to Grand Junction after graduating from high school. While in Grand Junction, she attended two years at Mesa Community College and worked for Upper Colorado Commission and Atomic Energy Commission.

In January of 1955, she married Leo Figurski in Grand Junction. Leo preceded her in death in October 2011. They lived in Salida, CO, Fort Collins, Akron, CO, and Julesburg, CO before moving to Kansas in 1966. Betty enjoyed working in the Kansas State University Comptroller's office for sixteen years and spoke fondly of her interaction with the students. She and Leo retired in 1989 and moved to Fort Collins. Betty loved socializing, and they enjoyed playing bridge with their many friends. They also loved to travel and took many trips abroad to see the world. Betty especially enjoyed her time in Prague. They had fun sharing their adventures with their friends and family.

Betty loved her family and was so pleased that all three daughters lived in Fort Collins the last few years of her life. They enjoyed taking her to lunch and talking to her about her life. Her son, Mike, lived close by in Colorado Springs and she enjoyed his visits.

Betty is survived by her sister Frances, her daughter Marcia and son-in-law Steve, her daughter Cheryl, her daughter Patricia and son-in-law Dennis, and her son Mike and daughter-in-law Tiphanie. She loved her nine grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, and she was ever so proud of them all.
