Linda Lou Swenson, 74 years of age, of Holdrege, died, on September 25, 2021, at the Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Linda was born in Red Cloud, Nebraska on July 31, 1947, the 4th of 8 children, born to Emil and Ada (Smith) Sidlo. She received her education from Red Cloud, NE.
Following her education, Linda worked at Becton and Dickinson in Holdrege, NE as a machine operator and floater for 25 years until she finally retired to be able to enjoy life more with all her friends and family.
On July 3rd, 1968, Linda was united in marriage to John Swenson in her parents home in Kenesaw, NE and to this union they had 3 children. The couple made their home in Holdrege. Together they enjoyed spending time with family, and taking trips to the Casinos when health would allow them to.
Linda enjoyed being able to be a wife, mother and most of all Grandma & Great Grandma. She also enjoy crocheting with her girlfriends for many years and then teaching anyone else she could, scrapbooking, adult coloring, and of course playing the slots.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Holdrege, NE for many years.
Linda will be remembered for her love of her family, her amazing smile and laugh that was contagious and that lite up everywhere she went. She will also be remember for always being willing to help everyone anytime she could, she was so giving and had a heart of gold.
Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by, her sister Ann Blessin.
