The funeral of Alton B. Ledford of Whitesburg, Georgia, a retired locomotive operator at Georgia Power Plant Yates. Burial was at the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church cemetery near Banning. Mr. Ledford, 78, died of a heart attack June 19, 1991, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Surviving are his wife Flora Mae Chambers Ledford; sons A. Richard Ledford and A. Eugene Ledford of Whitesburg; daughters Carolyn Argo and Patricia Rivers of Whitesburg; brother Zebulon B. Ledford Jr. of Marietta; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
