He is survived by his wife, Velma (Watson) Flaherty, whom he married on July 20, 1963; son, Clint Flaherty of Ravenna; granddaughter, Ilene Flaherty of Ravenna; his twin sister, Wanda Shumacher of Urichsville; sisters and brother, Elizabeth Halchuck of Canfield, Charles Flaherty of Texas and Mary Katherine Flaherty of Dover; and daughter-in-law, Jenny M. Flaherty. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arley Flaherty; and sister, Frances Jones.
