Baker – Roy Baker age 79 of Stone Mountain, GA; passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Rev. Billy Sheppard will officiate. Mr. Baker was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He retired from the Dekalb County Police Department in 1981 and Dekalb County Sheriff Office in 2006. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Roy Baker; parents, Clifford Snow & Evelyn Barns Baker; brother & sister-in-law, Clifford & Glinda Baker. He is survived by his wife, Debra Baker, Stone Mountain, GA; sons & daughters-in-law, Dennis & Terri Holland, Rydal GA; David & Michelle Baker, Decatur, GA: brother & sister-in-law, Ralph & Jannie Baker, Good Hope, GA; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; best friend, RC King, Stone Mountain, GA; and several nieces, nephews and family and friends.
