Ada Mary was born sometime in the year of 1872 to Raymond Lampert and his wife Annie Emma; she was later baptised when she was seven on 13th July 1879 at the Holy Trinity Church, Clapham. Nineteen year old Ada married the well respected photo lithographer James Ackerman, who was thirty-one years her senior, on 17th August 1892 at the church of St. Paul, Battersea.
They went on to have two sons; Raymond Percival (b. 23rd Aug 1894) and Maurice Sidney (b. 1895). Tragically both sons died before Ada, with young Raymond passing away at the age of fourteen in 1908 and Maurice being one of the many WW2 civilian victims. Ada passed away on 18th December 1952 at the age of eighty.
