Elliott Duvall Toatley, Jr. age 66 of Malvern died, Monday, August 25, 2014 in CHI-St. Vincent Hospital, Hot Springs, AR. He was born September 7, 1947 in Hot Springs to Elliott D. and Alma Lee McLemore Toatley, Sr. They preceded him in death as well as his sisters, Deloris Miles, Clara Jackson, Mattie Gray and Shirley Toatley, Zelva Pope and an infant brother. He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Company. Elliott was a graduate of the Historic Langston High School. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. He was a fun loving person and loved children.

His memories will forever be cherished by wife, Edna Lawson Toatley of Malvern; his children; LaShon (Richard) Winters of Little Rock, Kenneth Toatley of Houston, TX and their mother, Linda Toatley of Hot Springs; Jacqueline Lawson of Malvern and Robert (Chastity) Lawson of Dallas, TX; his sisters, Helen Garner of Ypsilanti, MI, Peggy Thompson of Saginaw, MI, Barbara (Walter) Davis of South Haven, MS and Lillie Middleton of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Kennedi Lawson, Tre'von Toatley and Kendrick Toatley and one granddaughter to be born; a brother-in-law, Glen Jackson; a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Malvern, AR with Pastor Orlando Freeman officating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery, Hot Springs. Visitation will be 5:00 - 6:30 PM Friday at the church.
The family will 885 Griffin Cutoff, Malvern, AR and 300 Apex Street, Hot Springs, AR.
