Alice Joyce Littleton, 87, of Hampton, GA. formerly of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
A private graveside service will be held in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA.
Alice was born in Ft. Benning, GA. on December 21, 1933 to the late Russell Franklin Dobbs and Vedere Robertson Dobbs. She was a resident of Columbus for many years and was retired from the Muscogee County School System where she taught at Muscogee Elementary. She was a former member of East Highland United Methodist Church. Alice was preceded in death by her husbands, William Bryant Anderson, John Miton Hammond and Alton Noah Littleton, a son, William Allen Anderson, and a brother, Wallace M. Dobbs.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice Marie Anderson Steen and husband, James of Hampton, GA. sister-in-laws, Theresa Dobbs of Boaz, MT. and Elsie Faye Gibson (George), grandchildren, Devin Steen (Gabrielle), Jordan Steen, Keilor Steen, Caper Steen, Galadriel Steen, and Tziporrah Steen, great grandchildren, Eliza Steen, Delilah Steen, Daniel Steen and Devin Steen and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gideons International, A Hospice or charity of your choice.
