Pilar (Archunde) Griego, age 80, born in Seboyeta, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on September 22, 2021.
Pilar is survived by her children, Vicki Griego, Pam Frésquez and her husband, Rocky, Robert Griego Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, Mark Griego and Dominic Griego, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, siblings, Lorenzo Archunde and his wife, Billye, Pauline Padilla and her husband, Cecil, Myrna Chávez and husband, Frank and Margaret Romero; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pilar was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Griego Sr. and parents, Benjamin and Esfrada Archunde.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldón Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. by family members. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on October 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at St Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW. A Burial to follow at San José de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shauna, Robbie, Nessa, Buddy, Ilijah, Aven, Edgerrin, Jacob, Landon, Dominic Jr. Urn Bearer will be Mark Anthony Griego.
