Evelyn R. Shepard, 93, of Altamont, died at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehab Center, Effingham.
Evelyn was born on Saturday, March 17, 1928 in Watson to Glen and Hazel (Bickel) Percival. She married Forest D. Shepard on April 26, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 6, 2010. She was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by; her sons, Bob Shepard, Effingham, Jerry (Janet) Shepard, Altamont and Steve (Jeri) Shepard, Altamont; sister, Barbara Buenker, Elliotstown, IL; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by, her parents and sister, Marilyn Proctor.
