Ricky Lynn Hobby, age 65, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force and a sales associate at Walmart in Princeton. Ricky was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and was a board member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed being a prankster. He loved everyone he met and was a caring father, grandfather brother and uncle.
He was survived by one son, Richard "Tony" Hobby of Oklahoma; one sister, Marilyn (Jimmy) Buntin of Dawson Springs; four brothers, Charles Hobby of St. Louis, MO, Kenneth Hobby (Linda) of Eddyville, Joey Hobby (Kathy) of Delaware, OH and Cecil Hobby (Sherry) of Texas; three grandchildren, Liliana Hobby, Grayson Day and Arden Castillo-Hobby, several nieces and nephews and his loving, furry companion, Lucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershell Hobby and Magdeline Marie Cunningham Hobby and two sisters, Betty Lax and Susan Myers.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at Morgan's Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services for Ricky Hobby will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Morgan's Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Bro. Roger Felker officiating.
Burial to follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
