Warner Jean Brantley, age 84, of Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Brantley was born in Johnson County on September 19, 1937, to the late Dewey and Gladys Carter. She was owner and operator of Brantley Grocery Store and retired from Bil Jo Shirt Factory. Mrs. Brantley was a member of Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Brantley; son, Steve Brantley; brothers, Darrel and Larry Carter; and granddaughters, Kandida Chale Wells and Kasey Davis.

Left to cherish her memory, are her daughters, Gail Wells (Charles), Gena Darden (Lenton), and Sheila Davis (Travis), all of Dublin; son, Lee Brantley, of Dublin; sister, Francine Caylor (Steve); brother, Buddy Carter (Ellen); grandchildren, Brant Wells (Rachel), of Milledgeville, John Duffield, and Genica Mcelhaney, Trey Davis, and Justin Graham, all of Dublin; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Brantley will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate.
